"From initial consultation to completion, Tony and his team were professional, friendly and thorough.  Tony talked us through the whole design and quotation so that we were totally happy before ground was broken.  During the works, disruption to the household was kept to a minimum and the grounds were always left safe and secure overnight.  Tony was also full of ideas and suggestions during the build and would always explain options fully to us for our decision.  Including any such changes, the build was delivered to design and maybe more importantly, to budget.  We are thoroughly enjoying our extended garden and pond and would be more than happy to recommend Tony and the team at AD Landscapes to anyone."

Mandy will be dropping off a Thank You card for the whole team which contains either a contribution to the next works party or for the boys to share out and get themselves a drink !

Hope you guys are all good - looking forward to the 18th.

Take care,

Tony, Thank you so much for all you hard work and impressive results in our front garden, What a transformation!
(Woodside Road, Sevenoaks)

Tony, You worked so hard re-landscaping our garden! You were so efficient and organised and tackled a huge and complicated task with great skill. Dear Tony, I am very sorry but I find your invoice to be unacceptable.
In my opinion you have charged me too low a sum for all the work that you have done! I therefore enclose a cheque for £6500.01p! (I except you may have to return every now and then as we suss out Fort/Slide).
Many thanks, we are very pleased – and sorry to be going to Jersey. (Copt Hall Lane, Ightham)

Dear Tony, Please find your cheque enclosed – just wanted to say a huge thank you, we are absolutely thrilled with the garden and have been in it every day enjoying the sunshine. (Kings Hill, West Malling)

Thank you for our beautiful garden - Enjoy the wine! (Kings Hill, West Malling)

Dear Tony, Please find enclose the cheque to cover the balance for the recently completed Fort and Garden work.
We are absolutely delighted with the work you have undertaken.  Our boys love their Fort...
The Fort is a piece of work that you should be very proud of. (Greenwoods Lane, Sevenoaks)

It all began with railings!

Those of you who pass by our house on the corner of The Street and Church Hill will not have failed to notice the transformation our garden has undergone during the past couple of months.  Those of you who pass by our house with dogs will know that we have two vociferously bossy canines of our own, and that’s where it all began – with the need for a perimeter fence.

We decided on railings.  Planning permission had to be got for railings, so off we went on the process of getting architects drawing’s, examples of railings, costing’s, and so on, which were eventually submitted to the Planning Office.  While we waited for the wheels of bureaucracy to grind, which we have to say they did with remarkable smoothness, we got to thinking about what else we might do with the garden.  Was it OK to move the Rag Stone wall retaining the vast mound of earth to the side of the house?  Tonbridge & Malling said it was, so we decided to do “something” with the garden.  Still waiting for the railings we gave the garden a little more thought.  Perhaps we could just do…? What about….?  Do you think we should…? Maybe we ought to….? You get the picture.

Enter the charming and eminently qualified Tony from A D Landscapes Ltd.  Tony comes brimful of ideas and with a penchant for heavy machinery that clearly he loves to play with.  And so the garden conversation began.  Ever the professional, Tony is also patient, polite and charming, as the many of you who stopped to talk to him discovered.  Which brings me to the point of this little piece.

We have been pleasantly overwhelmed by the friendly interest every one has shown in our garden “Project”.  So many people have bothered to chat and comment, and comments have invariably been encouraging, supportive and favourable so thank you for that.

Thanks also to you and all your forbearance and tolerance while deliveries were made, skips deposited and picked up, grab lorries did their stuff – while you had to wait to get up/down the hill.

And the railing? They are going in as I write, so by the time this goes to press they will be in and and established feature along with our TRANSFORMED GARDEN!!!
